The Project Execution Plan (PEP) is the operational document for the project. It describes the manner in which the development of this project will be undertaken for a project.
It is owned, maintained and utilised by the Project Manager and Project Team to support the delivery of the agreed project outputs. The Project Manager is responsible for the PEP which is the ‘road map’ enabling the effective day-to-day (operational) management and control of the project. This should be visible across the project team and must be approved by the Sponsor and Key Stakeholders.
